Ready to take your playing to the next level?
Let's Practice, Together! Learning Program
For early-intermediate players
Get instant access to over 20 monthly video lessons, a comprehensive all-in-one practice resource and practice plan as well as a kind supportive flute community.
What you will learn in the program:
Each week of our Let's Practice, Together! learning program is packed with video lessons designed to help you practice and learn scales, technical exercises and studies as well as a pieces. The early-intermediate stage of the program should take you about one year to complete, however, we have divided it into two 6-month stages to help keep you to stay motivated.
The doors to the program are currently closed. We start off a new group of students together about 2-3 times and do not allow students to sign up between these dates.
Why do we do this?
We have found that the best way to learn is to learn as a community. So we start our groups together as a community so that they can learn and grow together through the material. This helps keep the programs focused and allows you to get the full support you need!

Here is a breakdown of each month in this program:
Stage 1:
Before we get stuck into the content, we want to make sure that you start off this journey the RIGHT way. So, with our short intro series, we help guide you through the basics of how to get the most out of your practice and this program, while getting your head into the right space.
Practice the F major and D minor scale and arpeggio, the two octave chromatic scale, technical exercises and tone exercises to develop your tone, find balance in your body and my step-by-step piece and study learning method to help you learn two studies and a beautiful piece of music by Händel.
Practice the C major and A minor scale and arpeggio. Strengthen your low register and start becoming comfortable with that third register A. Build your technique by crafting your hand position and develop tone further with some fun tone exercises. Learn two studies and a piece so that you can perform it with confidence and ease by the end of the month.
Practice the G major and E minor scale and arpeggio. Take some time to focus specifically on breath control and learn how to play intervals with ease. We introduce some basic concepts around phrasing and of course, you will learn two studies and a piece.
Continue to the D major and B minor scale and arpeggio. Discover the art of trilling this month, and let it improve your technique in the process. We spend some time learning a beautiful piece by Bach and that will both challenge and many of you will hopefully be able to start integrating those trills!
This in-depth bonus course helps you to learn this wonderful piece of music by Bach. Similar to the piece learning videos, Learning Bach’s Siciliano is a course that not only teaches you this music but really teaches you to practice in a way that will change the way you approach music forever.
This month, the main focus is the Siciliano by either Bach or Blavet. We give you full access to our “Learning Bach Siciliano course” and for those of you who have already done it, we have another gorgeous piece to play and apply the skills you have learned. We also tackle Bb major and G minor.
We wrap up the first 6 months of the program by revising our scales and giving your tongue a good workout. Enjoy some beautiful music that will start to challenge you just a bit as we prepare you for the next stage of this journey!
Stage 2:
Take a break of the normal routine and enjoy some beautiful pieces of music, unusual practices and additonal learning. Or, just take a break!
Our bonus summer program is designed to work with your natural pace of the year, giving you a space to rest and do something a little different, because we ALL need a break.
Grow your rhythm and counting skills as you explore two more challenging studies and a piece designed to stretch you just a bit. We take on Eb major and C minor.
Learn Ab major (yikes!) and F minor and enjoy technical exercises designed to strengthen this area of your playing while you develop the tone in your high register on the flute. Challenge yourself with fun studies in Ab major and F minor.
Continuing our journey into the high register, we tackle A major and F# minor. These scales are not easy, but we work at them slowly and calmly and find ease in the fingers so that we can start building some finger speed.
Discover the basics of intonation and how you can start controlling your intonation. We connect this with embouchure flexibility so be prepared for your tone to make some wonderful improvements too! Learn E major and C# minor along with some fun studies and music in these keys.
There is an art to memorizing your scales and this month we spend time doing just that! Discover how you can learn your scales so that you can jump between them with ease. Play beautiful music to accompany your scale practice. You have now learned 8 out of the 12 majors and minors. How cool is that?!
We do not forget about the arpeggios! They are so important and so much fun. Discover the joy of these wonderful building blocks of music as we practice your intervals and boost your support and breathing. Ready for a totally scary new skill? For some of you, it may finally be time to learn VIBRATO! This will really make you feel like a ‘fully grown-up’ flutist!
Wondering where to go next. For those who are ready, we help get you ready to take on the next level: intermediate. Not yet ready? No stress. You will find some additional practice resources here to keep working on while you strengthen and revise your skills.
Is this program for you?
It does not need to be perfect, at all...
But this gives you an idea of the level of music to expect.
Here's what students had to say about the program...
I like being able to plod my way through at my own pace and I often go back to repeat sections, especially Studies and Pieces - I love to see the progress I have made, such a buzz! Your videos are so guiding besides having the feeling that it is like we are both in the same room - my own personal teacher!
The course layout works perfectly for me, I am often away at sea so printing out the Practice Resources and the Practice Plans ensures I always the content with me. I dont often get a chance to participate in the live Workshops but I always look forward to the replays once I get back into mobile data range.
Although I will still be working through the NOVICE Course well after the 6 month time frame, I will definitely subscribe to the next level DEVELOPING when it becomes available.

Frequently asked questions:
Though we are working on covering all levels in the future, this particular course is aimed specifically at EARLY-INTERMEDIATE players. (Not sure what your flute level is? Check here)
Our new flute learning program takes you through level-specific resources in a step-by-step manner, guided by Tatiana herself in over 20 pre-recorded video lessons per month for a whole year, which is divided into 2 stages. You follow the program at your own pace and in a way that suits your schedule.
As an additional bonus, you also get access to a monthly Practice class with a live teacher. This gives you a chance to ask her all your burning questions and get help with some of the issues you’re still struggling with.
How is this learning program (Let’s Practice, Together!) different from the Let’s Practice resources?
While both programs give you access to learning material that’s specifically tailored to your level, our new learning program takes it one step further.
In addition to the level-appropriate material, you now also have access to video-recorded lessons that take you through the material step-by-step and a detailed daily practice plan guiding you ever step of the way. It’ll be like having Tatiana right there in your practice room, leading you through each piece of music and study!
We have created a practice plan that helps you learn everything in this program in just four 30-minute sessions a week. So, ideally you can manage 20-30 minutes a day, but, if you do not have that time right now, you can do this program at your own pace entirely. That is the beauty of online learning. So do not let your busy schedule hold you back. We have done everything to make your practice as efficient and effective as possible!
You may discover that you are not on the correct level, or perhaps, that this style of learning is not the right thing for you. We COMPLETELY understand and we are so invested in your growth that we would happily offer you your money back, no questions asked. Just be sure to reach out to us in the first 30 days of making your purchase (only for those who signed up for the full program).
If you discover that you are on the wrong level and our other levels are available, we will add you to the correct level as soon so that you can get started from there.
Of course, if you are on a membership, you are free to cancel or change your membership at any time!
While face-to-face lessons are always a good idea, they might not be viable for everybody. Sometimes face-to-face tuition is just too costly, or intimidating (it can be scary to play in front of a real person!), or you may just not have access to a teacher in your area.
In this case, a learning program may be a great alternative to taking face-to-face flute lessons. Of course, our program can also be used to supplement face-to-face lessons and used to enhance and enrich your learning experience.
While both programs give you access to learning material that’s specifically tailored to your level, our new learning program takes it one step further.
In addition to the level-appropriate material, you now also have access to video-recorded lessons that take you through the material step-by-step. It’ll be like having Tatiana right there in your practice room, leading you through each piece of music and study!
Unfortunately not. We allow students to sign up at certain times of the year only. This allows the group to move together, learning from each other and sharing the experience as they go. It also allows us to guide and support you better as we walk this journey with you.
